I taught this recipe one year in my Family Consumer Science (Home Ec) class and it was a huge hit! The kids love how it tastes like pizza and how easy it is to customize!

Ingredients

  • ·
    8 oz corkscrew pasta
  • ·
    1 jar (33.5 oz) prego pasta sauce (or favorite sauce)
  • ·
    ½ cup thinly sliced pepperoni halves
  • ·
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • ·
    ½ cup black olives, halved
  • ·
    1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • ·
    parmesan cheese

How to Make Pasta With the Works

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large pot cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  2. In the same pasta pot; mix pasta, sauce, pepperoni, peppers, olives and mozzarella cheese in pot. Toss to coat.
  3. Heat through on medium-high heat. Serve with Parmesan cheese
