Ingredients
- 1 cup peas, fresh or frozen, i used canned
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 ounces prosciutto ham, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 12 ounces garden delight fettuccine
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
How To Make pasta with ham, peas and cream

Step 1Bring a large pot and a small pot of salted water to a boil. Add peas to the small pot and cook 3 minutes until crisp, Drain,set aside.

Step 2Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat, add mushrooms and cook 3-4 minutes until lightly browned. Add ham and cook 1 minute. Stir in peas, cream, salt and pepper. Turn heat to low, keep warm while cooking pasta.

Step 3Cook pasta in large pot according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the pasta cooking water. Toss pasta with butter mixture (if too dry, add a little of the pasta water). Toss pasta with the Parmesan cheese. Top the Fettuccini with the pea mixture just befre serving.
