Delicious grown up pasta. The fresh herbs give this such an earthy taste.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces small pasta
  • salt
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 2 cups parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 5 ounces goat cheese softened
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup favorite fresh herbs i used basil, mint and parsley

How To Make pasta with cheese, herbs and peas

  • Step 1
    Place a large pot of water on stove and add salt. Bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Stir in the peas and cook 2 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  • Step 2
    In the pasta pot add the Parmigiano-Reggiano, goat cheese, heavy cream, a pinch of salt, and 1/4 cup pasta water. Cook until the cheese is melted and smooth. Add more pasta water if it seems to dry.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the pasta and add the herbs. Serve sprinkled with more Parmigiano-Reggiano
