Ingredients
- 3 cups tomato puree
- 1-1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated romano cheese
- 1/2 cup coarsely shredded fontina cheese
- 2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 5 quarts water
- 1 - head cauliflower, coarsely chopped
- 1 pound penne
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- - salt to taste
How To Make pasta with cauliflower in spicy pink sauce

Step 1Mix the first seven ingredients in a bowl; set aside. Bring salted water to a boil in a large saucepan. Add the cauliflower and pasta. Cook for 5 minutes; drain.

Step 2Add the pasta mixture to the cheese mixture, tossing to combine well. Spoon into a baking dish or 6-8 individual shallow baking dishes. Top with butter. Bake at 500^ for 7-10 minutes or until bubbly & browned.
