I make large batches of this sauce and use it for anything that calls for meat ball subs,pizza,chicken cacciatore.I freeze small freezer bags and heat it in the microwave.

  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 2 can(s)
    stewed tomatoes
  • 4 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 3 medium
    bay leaves
  • 1 large
    onion fine dice
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh basil
  • 1 Tbsp
    oregano, fresh

How to Make Pasta Sauce


  1. Saute pepper,onion,garlic over medium heat for about 3 minutes
  2. In a heavy pot add water tomato sauce and pepper onions and garlic and bring it to a boil.
  3. Add the basil,oregano,and tomatoes and simmer on low for 45 minutes.
