I make large batches of this sauce and use it for anything that calls for meat ball subs,pizza,chicken cacciatore.I freeze small freezer bags and heat it in the microwave.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 4 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 medium bay leaves
- 1 large onion fine dice
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon oregano, fresh
How To Make pasta sauce

Step 1Saute pepper,onion,garlic over medium heat for about 3 minutes

Step 2In a heavy pot add water tomato sauce and pepper onions and garlic and bring it to a boil.

Step 3Add the basil,oregano,and tomatoes and simmer on low for 45 minutes.
