I wanted something quick and easy that used what I had on hand because I didn’t want to go to the store. I thought about Alfredo but didn’t have Parmesan. I had mixed Italian cheese and the other ingredients and thought about a pot pie. I then decided to make it a pasta dish. This turned out so well. My husband loved it and I did, too. You could do so many variations on this

  • 1 pkg
    chopped ham
  • 1 can(s)
    small peas
  • 1 can(s)
    diced potatoes
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    cream or half and half
  • 1 box
    pasta. i use bowtie
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    rosemary, dried
  • 1 1/2 c
    italian cheese blend
  • 1 can(s)
    sliced mushrooms

How to Make Pasta Pot Pie


  1. Sauté ham in melted butter. Do this while your pasta is cooking.
  2. Add drained cans of diced potatoes, peas and sliced mushrooms and sauté with ham
  3. Add rosemary and some fresh black pepper
  4. Add can of cream of mushroom soup and the cream. Stir well.
  5. Add the cheese and stir to melt. Add in drained and cooked pasta. If not creamy enough add some more cream or even chicken broth. Salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
