  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup button mushrooms quartered
  • 5 ounces crumbled blue cheese
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded romano cheese plus more for serving
  • 1/4 cup walnut pieces
  • 8 ounces spaghetti

How To Make pasta in a blue cheese, mushroom walnut sauce

  • Step 1
    Place the butter in a large saucepan. Add the mushrooms and cook until browned. Mix the blue cheese and sour cream together
  • Step 2
    Pour the blue cheese mixture into the mushroom mixture. Stir until well combined Add the romano cheese and cook until melted.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the walnuts. Taste and adjust for seasoning.
  • Step 4
    Cook the spaghetti as directed on package. Drain Stir into sauce. Top with more romano cheese and serve.
