    unsalted butter
  • 1 lb
    penne pasta
  • 1/4 c
    goat cheese, in chunks
  • 1/2 c
    freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c
    freshly grated pecorino romano cheese
  • 1/4 c
    shredded gruyere cheese
  • ·
    freshly ground black pepper as desired

How to Make Pasta Con Quattro Formaggi


  1. Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan; set aside. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the penne and cook according to package directions.
  2. Drain and add to the butter in the sauce pan. then mix in the cheeses, one at a time, turning the noodles thouroughly as you go. serve hot with freshly ground black pepper
