garlic parmesan chicken fettuccine alfredo
Creamy, cheesy, and delicious! This recipe is so versatile. My garlic parmesan chicken strips can be omitted or replaced with grilled chicken or whatever your family prefers. The sauce can be used as a topping for chicken or used alone on your favorite pasta. As with anything I make, the seasonings can be adjusted based on your preferences. The wine and nutmeg are just an addition to the flavor profile. Serve with Caesar Salad and your favorite toasty Garlic Bread. Enjoy!

How To Make garlic parmesan chicken fettuccine alfredo
-
Step 1Sprinkle chicken strips with Italian seasoning, granulated garlic, salt and pepper
-
Step 2In a shallow dish, add Kraft Parmesan Cheese. Coat seasoned chicken strips in cheese.
-
Step 3In a large skillet, melt butter and add olive oil. Saute chicken strips (do not crowd pan) until browned and cooked through. Set aside. Cut into bite sized pieces once cooled
-
Step 4In a large pot, melt butter and cream cheese. Add minced garlic. Cook 2 minutes.
-
Step 5Slowly stir in whipping cream and optional wine. Season with salt, pepper, granulated garlic.
-
Step 6Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes stirring constantly. Sauce will thicken as it simmers. Check seasoning, add more if needed. This is also when I add the optional nutmeg.
-
Step 7Remove from heat. Stir in shredded parmesan until well blended.
-
Step 8Serve Alfredo Sauce over prepared fettuccine pasta. Top with chicken and fresh parmesan if you love cheese like my family does.
