  • 1.75 c
  • 3/4
    orzo pasta, uncooked
  • 5/8 tsp
  • 1 c
    spinach, fresh and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbsp
    pine nuts, toasted

How to Make Orzo with Spinach and Pine Nuts


  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and saute 1 minute.
  3. Add 1-3/4 cups water, orzo, and salt, and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 13 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
  5. Stir in spinach and remaining ingredients.
