I came up with this going through the fridge and pantry to use up things.

Ingredients

  • 1 (44 oz.) can(s)
    del monte meat flavored pasta sauce
  • 1/4 c
    grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 (4 oz.) can(s)
    mushrooms
  • 4
    plum tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried parsley
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 16 oz
    egg noodles, uncooked
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Noodle Skillet

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook noodles according to directions . You want them a dente . Drain and set asdie.
  2. While noodles are cooking...Chop tomatoes. Set aside. Chop bell pepper. Set aside.
  3. Open mushrooms and drain well. Chop mushrooms. Set aside.
  4. Place oil in a small skillet. Heat to medium. Add mushrooms, bell pepper and tomatoes.
  5. Cook stirring frequently, until bell pepper is tender. Set aside.
  6. Place sauce in a bowl. Add the spiced. Mix well.
  7. Place mushrooms, bell pepper and tomatoes in the sauce mix well.
  8. Place the noodles, sauce and cheeses in a large skillet Heat over medium heat. Stir occasionally to mix well.
  9. Cook until hot, about 15 minutes.
  10. When hot serve.
  11. I like to serve with a salad, veggies and garlic toast.
