Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 2 - onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cups beef bouillon
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • - splash of hot pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • - "just a pinch" of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 pound noodles, cooked

How To Make noodle and beef skillet

  • Step 1
    Cook the beef in a heavy skillet, adding a small amount of butter if necessary, until slightly browned, breaking it up with a fork as it cooks; set aside.
  • Step 2
    Cook the onions and green pepper in 2 tablespoons of butter until soft.
  • Step 3
    Add the mushrooms and saute\' for 5 minutes, covered.
  • Step 4
    Add the meat and cook for 5 minutes more.
  • Step 5
    Add the bouillon and heat to boiling.
  • Step 6
    Meanwhile mix the flour with the water into a smooth paste and add this to skillet when the contents are boiling.
  • Step 7
    Stir in the seasonings and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 8
    Add the noodles and heat.
