i created a new macaroni salad recipe,it's a style of new orleans.It's great with a side of fried chicken thighs.

Ingredients
- 1 pound dry elbow macaroni
- 3 tablespoons creole seasoning,divided
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 cups whole milk,divided
- 2 cups mayonnaise,divided
- 3/4 cup creole mustard
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 medium red bell pepper,seeded and chopped
- 1 medium yellow bell pepper,seeded and chopped
- 1 large carrot,peeled and grated
- 1 tablespoon sweet and tangy seasoning
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
How To Make new orleans macaroni salad

Step 1In a large pot,bring 4 quarts of water to a boil.

Step 2Add elbow macaroni and 2 tablespoons creole seasoning.Boil 10 minutes or until the macaroni are very soft;drain.

Step 3Return macaroni to the pot.Add apple cider vinegar and toss well until absorbed.Let cool for 15 minutes.After that,Transfer to a large bowl and set aside.

Step 4In a medium bowl,combine 1 cup milk,1 cup mayonaisse,creole mustard,brown sugar,onion soup mix and creole seasoning;whisk together for 3 minutes or until blended.

Step 5Pour over the macaroni mixture and mix well.

Step 6Once the macaroni mixture are cooled,add remaining milk and mayonaisse, chopped red and yellow bell peppers,grated carrot,sweet and tangy seasoning and ground black pepper.

Step 7Stir together for 5 minutes to combine.Refrigerate for overnight.
