my mom's german spaghetti

I really have no idea where my Mom got this recipe, I am just thankful she found it. My youngest daughter asks for this for her birthday(or anytime she is home)every year! It makes a ton of spaghetti and is even better the second and third day.

Ingredients

  • 4 - medium onions, chopped
  • 1-1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 - large bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 - large cans sliced mushrooms
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 cans 1 lb size, tomatoes
  • 1 pound cooked spaghetti
  • 1 pound grated cheddar cheese

How To Make my mom's german spaghetti

  • Step 1
    Saute onions and bell pepper in oil. Add beef and cook until browned; drain. Add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Add tomatoes and mix well. Add the spaghetti and cheese. Improves flavor by holding in warm oven.
