my million dollar spaghetti

Ive seen dozens of million dollar spaghetti recipes , this is my version. Doesnt taste like spaghetti , doesnt taste like lasagna.

Ingredients For my million dollar spaghetti

  • 1 lb
    ground sirloin
  • 1 sm
    onion chopped
  • 2 tsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 can
    traditional spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb
    spaghetti noodles
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 lb
    small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    butter sliced in pats
  • 2 c
    grated cheese , i use mozzarella

How To Make my million dollar spaghetti

    Add olive oil , ground sirloin , chopped onion and garlic powder to skillet. Saute until beef is done and onion is clear, add spaghetti sauce and 1/2 cup water and simmer. Set aside

    Cook spaghetti until al dente , about 10 mins , drain and rinse with cool water to stop cooking.

    Add cream cheese to microwave safe bowl and microwave 1 min to soften. Mix in cottage cheese and sour cream.

    Place butter pats in bottom of 9x13 oven safe dish. Place half the drained spaghetti noodles , then spread the cream cheese mixture over the noodles. Add the remaining noodles and cover with the meat sauce . Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, top with cheese and bake additional 30 mins.
