my easy-does-it spaghetti
This is a great recipe when serving 2-4 people. It is quick to put together and cooks all on its own. I do stir mine once or twice while cooking, but that is all it needs.

Ingredients
- 1 pound browned ground beef
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cans (8oz.ea) tomato sauce
- 1-1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 3 cups tomato juice
- 4 ounces dry spaghetti (1-1/2 cu) broken into 4-5 inch pieces
How To Make my easy-does-it spaghetti
-
Step 1Put the drained, browned beef in the bottom of a slow cooker that has been lined with a liner.
-
Step 2Add all remaining ingredients except the dry spaghetti, stir well. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours on low. Or on high for 3 to 5 hours.
-
Step 3Turn to high for the last hour, stir in the spaghetti (I break strands in half for ease). Important note: do NOT use more than 4 ounces of spaghetti - I know, it does not look like much, but believe me, it is more than enough for two people to eat for 2 or more meals. More than the suggested 4 ounces makes for a gummy, not good tasting dish - guess who had to throw out a whole potful?!
