mrs. cottom's goulash
This was given to my mother after my father's funeral and all the guests loved it. Mrs. Cottom was a dear neighbor who lived across the street in Anderson, Indiana. Can easily be doubled or tripled for larger crowds.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 medium chopped green pepper
- 1 med. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1/2 pound noodles, uncooked
- - salt and pepper
How To Make mrs. cottom's goulash

Step 1Brown meat. Cook onions, celery & green pepper until tender. Combine with meat. Add stewed tomatoes and tomato juice.

Step 2Cook noodles and combine all ingredients.

Step 3Let simmer 1/2 hour OR transfer to baking dish and bake in 300-degree oven for 1/2 hour. May serve with grated cheese topping.
