Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 1/2 cup olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined & tails off
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon basil, fresh, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 6 tablespoons romano cheese, grated

How To Make *** mom's shrimp scampi & linquine ***

  • Step 1
    Cook linquine according to package directions. Drain & cool. Toss pasta with bit of olive oil; set aside.
  • Step 2
    In skillet, remaining olive oil, cook shrimp, garlic, basil, oregano & parsley until shrimp curls, 4 minutes. Add pasta; mix well. Add cheese. Serve in bowl.
