Ingredients

  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • - salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup
  • 1/3 cup water (measured out of soup can)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

How To Make *** mom's beef casserole ***

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Cook noodles according to package.
  • Step 3
    In skillet, brown beef, onion & garlic in oil, about 6 minutes. Drain. Add oregano, salt, pepper, soup, water & noodles; mix well. Take off heat, add 1/2 of cheese; mix well.
  • Step 4
    In a greased 11 x 7" baking dish, pour mixture in. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake 30 minutes. Cool 5 - 10 minutes.
