My mom used to make this with left over turkey. it is fantastic.

1 1/2 c
hot milk
1/4 c
eggs well beaten
1 c
soft fresh breadcrumbs
1 c
grated cheese (1/4 lb velveeta)
2 c
cubed cooked turkey
2 c
cooked and drained elbow macaroni
1 small
onion finely chopped
2 Tbsp
chopped parsley
1 tsp
1/8 tsp
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup (used for gravy does not go into main recipe)

How to Make Mom Sykes Turkey Loaf


  • 1Melt butter in hot milk.
  • 2Combine remaining ingredients.
  • 3Pour milk and butter over mixture and stir constantly.
  • 4Pour into 1 lb greased loaf pan.
  • 5Sit loaf pan in a roasting pan with 1” of hot water in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 – 60 minutes. Until a knife comes out clean.
  • 6Let stand in pan for 5 min. until inverting on platter.
  • 7Slice and serve with thick Cream of Chicken soup as sauce.
