My mom used to make this with left over turkey. it is fantastic.

  • 1 1/2 c
    hot milk
  • 1/4 c
  • 4
    eggs well beaten
  • 1 c
    soft fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 c
    grated cheese (1/4 lb velveeta)
  • 2 c
    cubed cooked turkey
  • 2 c
    cooked and drained elbow macaroni
  • 1 small
    onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup (used for gravy does not go into main recipe)

How to Make Mom Sykes Turkey Loaf


  1. Melt butter in hot milk.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour milk and butter over mixture and stir constantly.
  4. Pour into 1 lb greased loaf pan.
  5. Sit loaf pan in a roasting pan with 1” of hot water in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 – 60 minutes. Until a knife comes out clean.
  6. Let stand in pan for 5 min. until inverting on platter.
  7. Slice and serve with thick Cream of Chicken soup as sauce.
