My mom used to make this with left over turkey. it is fantastic.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups hot milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 - eggs well beaten
  • 1 cup soft fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated cheese (1/4 lb velveeta)
  • 2 cups cubed cooked turkey
  • 2 cups cooked and drained elbow macaroni
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (used for gravy does not go into main recipe)

How To Make mom sykes turkey loaf

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in hot milk.
  • Step 2
    Combine remaining ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Pour milk and butter over mixture and stir constantly.
  • Step 4
    Pour into 1 lb greased loaf pan.
  • Step 5
    Sit loaf pan in a roasting pan with 1” of hot water in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 – 60 minutes. Until a knife comes out clean.
  • Step 6
    Let stand in pan for 5 min. until inverting on platter.
  • Step 7
    Slice and serve with thick Cream of Chicken soup as sauce.
