microwave spaghetti casserole
I got this recipe from a cookbook about 20+ years ago and tweaked it for our family. It has always been a favorite and requested meal around here. I know there are many baked spaghetti dishes out there, but this one is always the one we come back to. There are never any left-overs. It's easy too!

Ingredients
- 1 box vermicelli, cooked
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- - salt & black pepper, to taste
- 2 - 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded (depending on how cheesy you want it to be)
- 1 can condensed tomato soup ( i prefer muer glen)
- 1 (24 oz) can pasta sauce
- 1/2 can milk (use the soup can)
How To Make microwave spaghetti casserole

Step 1Brown beef with onion, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Drain if needed. Meanwhile cook vermicelli according to package directions.

Step 2Combine soup, milk, and pasta sauce- set aside.

Step 3In large microwavable bowl:layer cooked vermicelli; cooked beef; & cheese. Repeat layers ending with cheese. Pour soup mixture over all.

Step 4Microwave 70% power for 10 minutes or until heated through.

Step 5Serve with salad and garlic bread slices or sticks.
