Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper

How To Make mediterranean macaroni and cheese

  • Step 1
    Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the orzo and let it brown a bit.
  • Step 2
    Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat to low.
  • Step 3
    Cook about 15 minutes until the liquid is absorbed.
  • Step 4
    Add the Parmesan and let it melt. Season with salt and pepper.
