1 Tbsp
parsley flakes
1/2 tsp

can diced tomatoes
3 can(s)
tomato paste, 6 ounces
1 pkg
lasagna noodles, 10 ounces
3 c
cottage cheese
eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1/8 c
parsley flakes
1/2 c
parmesan cheese
1.5 lb
mozzarella cheese, grated

How to Make Margaret's Lasagna


  • 1Brown ground beef.
  • 2Drain fat and wash with warm water to remove excess fat.
  • 3Add parsley flakes, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste.
  • 4Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • 5Combine cottage cheese, eggs, seasonings and parmesan cheese.
  • 6Mix with meat sauce.
  • 7In a 9x13 pan, pour half the mixture over a layer of cooked noodles.
  • 8Cover with half the mozzarella cheese.
  • 9Repeat layers.
  • 10Bake at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
  • 11Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
