macaroni crab salad

A great side dish for BBQ's or a picnic. I serve this a lot during the summer. It's a nice change from potato salad and not traditional macaroni salad. It's always a hit and the bowl is always empty before we leave :)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound small shell macaroni - cooked & drained
  • 1 pound imitation crab meat - flaked apart into small pieces
  • 3 - green onions - chopped
  • 2 medium celery stalks - chopped small
  • 1 cup mayonnaise - (i use best foods / hellman's)
  • - salt, pepper, seasoning salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes

How To Make macaroni crab salad

  • Step 1
    In a large mixing bowl add macaroni, crab, onions, celery adding mayonnaise a little at a time until you get your desired consistency. I don't care for mine too goopy. Mix well and add seasonings. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.
