My sister (Laurie) showed me how to make this dish years ago. This is a regular at our house. Quick-Easy-& Tasty~

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1 - onion-chopped
  • 1 can petite-cut diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 7 ounces elbow macaroni-cooked
  • 8 ounces block cheese-shredded
  • - salt & pepper to taste
  • - extra cheese for the top

How To Make macaroni casserole

  • Step 1
    Boil and cook macaroni according to package.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 350'. Grease or spray non-stick spray in a casserole dish.
  • Step 3
    Brown meat in a large skillet..add onion. Saute with meat until tender. Drain off grease. Take off heat.
  • Step 4
    Add tomatoes, ketchup, cream of mushroom soup, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  • Step 5
    Add macaroni and cheese and stir until well blended. Pour into casserole dish. Sprinkle extra cheese on top.
  • Step 6
    Bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven~
