macaroni, beef, and tomatoes

My best friend gave me this recipe and l modified it with my own favorite spices. Even my picky eater loves this dish!!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 cans petite diced tomatoes (large cans)
  • 2 pounds macaroni, cooked
  • 2 - celery ribs, chopped fine
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 large onion, chopped fine
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
  • 5 tablespoons paprika
  • 1/4 cup parsley flakes
  • 5 tablespoons basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons salt and pepper

How To Make macaroni, beef, and tomatoes

  • Step 1
    Chop onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic finely
  • Step 2
    In a large pot, mix everything except tomatoes and macaroni. Cook meat mixture until done and then drain. Add both cans of tomatoes and mix well...simmer on med heat for about 15 minutes, stirring often.
  • Step 3
    Boil noodles as directed on package and drain. Slowly mix into meat mixture.
