This has to be one of the most delicious casseroles ever!! It satisfies that need for comfort food. The cheeses and pairing of the saltine crackers are out of this world! You will want to eat it all in one sitting!! I highly suggest doubling it!! :)

Ingredients

  • 1-8 ounce box of elbow macaroni
  • 1-8 ounce processed cheese such as velveeta
  • 1-10.75 ounce can of condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup crushed saltines
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How To Make macaroni and cheese casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta according to box directions. Drain
  • Step 2
    Put macaroni in a bowl
  • Step 3
    Stir in the bowl with the macaroni, the processed cheese, cheese soup, sour cream, parmesean cheese, and salt and pepper.
  • Step 4
    Pour mixture in a casserole dish.
  • Step 5
    In another bowl, mix crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
  • Step 6
    Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Step 7
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
