This is a recipe I put together from grabbing ingredients from several recipes. It turned out great. We all loved it. If I can make it taste good, so can you!

  • 16 oz
    elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 c
  • 3 1/2 c
  • 2 1/2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    gargonzola cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    mozarella & provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese. shredded
  • 1 c
    bread crumbs
  • 5 Tbsp

How to Make Macaroni and Cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 325.

    Cook macaroni as directed on package.
  2. Melt 4 Tbsp. butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add flour and whisk continually for 1 to 2 minutes to make a roux. Whisk in 2 C of the milk into the roux until smooth and add remaining milk. Raise the heat to medium high and continue cooking and stirring until thickened, but not boiling. Stir in all the shredded cheeses into the mixture. Once the cheeses have melted completely, fold in drained macaroni into the mixture to coat. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  3. Melt 1+ Tbsp. butter and mix with bread crumbs. Spread over macaroni. Bake in preheated oven until golden bubbly for about 25 minutes. Allow to rest 10 minutes before serving.
