tomato paste, 6 ounces

1/2 tsp
4 c
elbow macaroni, cooked
1 c
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Macaroni and Beef Casserole


  • 1In a 10-inch skillet, brown beef, sausage and onion; drain fat.
  • 2Add tomato paste, water, oregano and salt; simmer 5 minutes.
  • 3In a 2 1/2 quart casserole layer half the macaroni, half the meat sauce and half the cheese.
  • 4Repeat layers using remaining macaroni, meat sauce and cheese.
  • 5Bake at 375 degrees 20 to 25 minutes.
