Kind of like Lasagna, yet different. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, leanest you can get
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce, your favorite - homemade or store bought
  • 1 box rice noodles
  • 1 sm can black olives, sliced & drained
  • 1 1/2 cups gruyere cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 cups Fontina cheese
  • 1 - 8 oz packages cream cheese, cubed
  • SERVE WITH:
  • sour cream, fat-free
  • scallions, sliced thin (both greens & whites)

How To Make lumberjack casserole

  • Step 1
    PREP EVERYTHING: Brown meat - season with salt & pepper. Cheese Grated or Cubed (all cheeses mixed together) Noodles Cooked - according to package directions.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl add sauce to meat & stir. You don't want you sauce to be too runny.
  • Step 4
    In a rectangular baking dish (9" X 13") start layering ingredients. 1/2 Meat - Bottom 1/2 Olives over meat 1/2 Cheese over olives 1/2 Noodles over cheese Prepeat each layer again. Top off with more cheese.
  • Step 5
    Cover with foil & bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until bubbly. Let rest for 10 minutes once removed from oven. When serving, top off with a dollop of sour cream & sprinkling of scallions & enjoy!
