I whipped this up one night for a quick easy dinner. I have to say this was the best seafood dish I have made and my family just loved it. Hope you do as much as they did too :D

Ingredients
- - 1 package fettuccine
- - 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
- - 1.5 cup heavy cream
- - 1.5 cup finely grated parmigiana - romano-asiago cheese
- - 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or more to taste)
- - 8 strips of bacon cut into pieces
- - 12 scallops
- - 12 large shrimp

Step 1Cook the fettuccine in a pot of rapidly boiling salted water until al dente. Drain in a colander, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking liquid.

Step 2While the pasta is cooking, in a frying pan add bacon and cook for about 5 min then add your scallops and shrimp when they are cooked add the butter, once melted add heavy cream and salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Cook until sauce has reduced slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat.

Step 3Return the pasta to the pot it was cooked in, set over medium-high heat along with the reserved cooking liquid. Add the butter-cream mixture and cheese and toss to combine thoroughly. Dish up on plates and sprinkle with some more cheese Serve and Enjoy .
