    salt to taste

    1 pkg. fresh linguini, 9 oz.
  • ·
    3/4 cup whipping cream
  • ·
    1 tbsp butter
  • ·
    3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ·
    1 tbsp. grated lemon peel
  • ·
    1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Linguini with Lemon Alfredo Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring salted water to a boil in pan over high heat. Add linguini. Cook, uncovered, til al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water.
  2. Mix cream and butter in large heavy skillet. Bring to a simmer over medium high heat. Stir in lemon juice and peel.
  3. Add pasta; toss to coat, adding reserved water as needed to thin the sauce to desired consistency. Add cheese and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Serves 4
