Ingredients
- 1 pound medium cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 8 ounces dried linguini
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 - roma tomatoes, coarsely chopped.
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
How To Make linguini, shrimp & asparagus

Step 1Trim asparagus, remove tips and set aside. Slice the asparagus stalks on a bias into 1"-pieces, set aside. Cook pasta as directed, drain, keep warm. In lg skillet cook & stir garlic in oil over medium heat for about 15 seconds. Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Cook, stirring 3 min. Add to skillet, the asparagus stalks, broth, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook 3 min. Stir in shrimp and asparagus tips. Cook 3 min, or until shrimp is pink. Stir in butter until melted. Add shrimp mix to pasta. Stir in basil, toss to coat.
