  • 1 1/2 c
    spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef or turkey
  • 2 sheet(s)
    barilla oven-ready lasagne noodles
  • 8 oz
    cottage cheese (or ricotta, if preferred)
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ·
    *optional* diced onion, diced tomato, sliced mushrooms, sliced mozzarella

How to Make Lil' Pot Lasagna


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    Brown ground beef in enough water to cover bottom of pan; drain well. Season as desired. Add in sauce and any optional items you'd like such as diced onion, diced tomatoes or mushrooms. Stir well.
  2. In each of two oven-safe bowls or ramekins, place 1/4 of meat sauce (if desired, place a slice of mozzarella cheese but not necessary.)
  3. Break one sheet of oven-ready lasagne in half and place on meat sauce.
  4. Divide the cottage cheese between the two bowls; spread to the edges.
    Break last lasagne sheet in half, place on top of cottage cheese in each dish.
  5. Spread remainder of meat sauce in each bowl.
    Divide the shredded mozzarella between each dish. Cover with foil and place on a baking sheet in oven.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
    **Allow to set for 15 minutes before serving**
