My husband and I love pasta and therefore usually have some in the fridge already made. We also love tomatoes and have had great tomato gardens. We usually start by combining the two whenever we can. The latest recipe I made starting with these two ingredients was a great success. Hope you try it and let me know what your combinations are. - Ruth

  • 2 c
    cooked macaroni
  • 1 can(s)
any tomatoes you like (i used diced with basil, garlic and oregano)
  • 1 can(s)
green giant steam crisp southwestern corn
  • 1 c
diced lunch meat (such as spam)
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder with parsley

  1. Cook macaroni per directions on box. OR (as I did) use 2 cups of leftover macaroni that already had tomatoes added.
  2. In a microwaveable bowl, (If not already added) mix in 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes with or without spices added and use your own favorite.
  3. Add 1 can (11 oz) steam crisp southwestern corn and mix altogether. At this point, you can add the garlic powder or any other spices you want.
  4. Cook in microwave to heat through. (Mine took about 2 minutes.)
