last minute creamy chicken faux-fredo
This is one of those recipes where I hadn’t gone to the grocery store, and I had to figure out what to make for dinner. Leftover chicken tenders, and a staple box of spaghetti and the rest was history! My kids actually ask for this now! And as an added touch, I sometimes add bacon bits! I hope your family loves it as much as we do!

Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti, noodles, or fettuccine noodles
- 8 ounces boxes cream cheese
- 6 tablespoons salted butter
- One teaspoon onion powder
- Two tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/8 cup grated cheese
- One tablespoon ground black pepper
- salt to taste
- 6-10 chicken tenders pre-cooked
- 1 1/4 cups half-and-half or heavy, whipping cream

Step 1Boil your spaghetti noodles

Step 2While the noodles are boiling cut your chicken into bite-size chunks and set aside

Step 3In a small pan, place, your butter and cream cheese, and on low heat slowly melt the cream cheese into the butter

Step 4Once fully melted, add all of your seasonings, including the Parmesan cheese mix well

Step 5Slowly stir and pour in the half-and-half or heavy, whipping cream

Step 6Drain your pasta add your chicken on top of the pasta and then pour sauce over it all. Stir and mix in well so that sauce incorporates and covers all of the noodles and chicken.

Step 7Place in bowls, sprinkle with a little salt and pepper and maybe some extra Parmesan cheese!
