small curd creamed cottage cheese

grated parmesan cheese

ground beef, cooked and drained

mozzarella cheese, shredded

tomato paste

1/4 tsp
fresh parsley, chopped

How to Make Lasagna Pie


  • 1Preheat oven to 400.
  • 2Grease pie plate, 10x1 1/2", or square baking dish - 8x8".
  • 3Layer cottage cheese and parmesan cheese in pie plate.
  • 4Mix cooked beef, 1 cup of mozzarella, the oregano, basil and tomato paste; spoon evenly over the top.
  • 5Beat milk, eggs, baking mix, salt and pepper 15 seconds in blender on high speed, 1 minute with wire whisk or hand beater or until smooth.
  • 6Pour in to pie plate.
  • 7Bake 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 8Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • 9Return to oven 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • 10Cool 5 minutes.
  • 11Sprinkle with parsley.
  • 121/2 recipe: Use 1 quart square or round casserole.
  • 13Divide ingredients amounts in half.
  • 14Decrease beat time to 10 seconds in blender or 30 seconds with wire whisk or hand beater and first bake time to 25-30 minutes.
  • 15HIGH ALT: no adjustment necessary.
  • 16For 1/2 pie, use 1 1/2 quart round or 1 quart square.
  • 17Bake 30-35 minutes.
