My Mother found this recipe when I was in High School. My brother & I really looked forward to the nights that she made it.

Ingredients

  • 6 - lasagna noodles
  • 1 - 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 - 15 ounces tomato sauce, italian seasoned
  • 1 - 14.5 ounces tomatoes, canned italian-style and diced
  • 1 tablespoon 0regano
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 16 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesean cheese

How To Make lasagna

  • Step 1
    Brown hamburger. Add garlic, tomato sauce, tomatoes, oregano, salt & Pepper. Simmer 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Cook about six lasagna noodles.A dash of salt to water. Boil approximately 20 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Fill rectangular casserole dish with alternating layers of noodles, cheese and tomato meat sauce.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.
