mac and cheese- knock your "red sox" off

Every year I enter a huge Mac and cheese bake off- I always come in second. This is my 2017 entry. Let's see how it goes!!

Ingredients For mac and cheese- knock your "red sox" off

  • 1 box
    cavatappi pasta
  • 2 can
    cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 can
    evaporated milk
  • 1 stick
    butter (salted)
  • 3
    8 oz blocks of sharp cheddar (finely shredded)
  • 3
    8 oz blocks of super sharp cheddar (finely shredded)
  • 3
    8oz blocks of american cheese (finely shredded)
  • 2 pkg
    kayem natural casing hotdogs
  • 4 Tbsp
    mustard, spicy brown
  • 3 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 2
    large white onion(diced)
  • 4 oz
    beer, ipa preferably.

How To Make mac and cheese- knock your "red sox" off

    Cook pasta in salted water
  • 2
    Cut hotndogs into nickle sized rounds. Fry in frying Pan with 2 tbs of butter until brown. Remove with slotted spoon .

    Add 2 more TbS butter to pan and add onions. Saute until translucent.

    Strain cooked pasta.

    Slowly add your shredded cheese until it's all in corporated.

    Add Hotdogs, onions, ketchup, and mustard. Stir until incorporated.

    ( broil on high for extra 5 min for a calmelized cheese top)
