Ingredients For ketchup spaghetti

  • 7 oz
    spaghetti
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 2 tsp
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 c
    chopped mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 c
    grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make ketchup spaghetti

  • 1
    Bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt. Cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain.

    To make the sauce. Add olive oil to a pan. Add the onions and mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms have given up their moisture.

    Mix the ketchup, milk, Worcestershire, and sugar. Add to the onion mushroom mixture. Add a little pasta water if too thick.

    Add the spaghetti to the sauce and mix well. Add the butter. Taste to adjust for salt and pepper. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
