jane's baked macaroni and cheese
This is my mother in law's recipe. She's from KY where Mac and Cheese is considered a staple on the kitchen table. It's custard style so that when cooled can be cut into squares. It's hers and now my most requested dish for potlucks. So easy with only 4 ingredients. Hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups milk
- 32 ounces block sharp cheddar cheese cut into chunks
- 8 - eggs
- 16 ounces cooked macaroni
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make jane's baked macaroni and cheese

Step 1Cook macaroni according to directions. Drain and set aside.

Step 2In a bowl, whisk eggs and then add milk. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir thoroughly.

Step 3Place egg mixture in a large greased baking dish. Add cooked macaroni and stir thoroughly. Add cheese chunks and again stir thoroughly so that everything is evenly distributed.

Step 4Place in a 350* oven and bake for 55 min. or until the top is a golden brown.

Step 5Try to let rest for 15 min. before cutting into it.
