italian spaghetti

This is a recipe from my husband's aunt. She received it from her Italian landlady when they lived in Europe in the 40's/50's. It calls for vermicelli, but I've also used the angel hair and spaghetti noodles and it is fine.

Ingredients
- 1 pound vermicelli
- 1 - garlic bulb chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 ounces olive oil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- - grated romano cheese
How To Make italian spaghetti

Step 1Boil Vermicelli, when done rinse in warm water. Mash garlic in butter and olive oil. Cooke and bring to a boil. Add spices.

Step 2Pour over warm vermicelli. Sprinkle with cheese when ready to serve

Step 3Keeps well in a warm oven and microwaves well for leftovers. This tastes great as a side dish with prime rib or steaks. Add seafood for a complete dish. Delicious! My families favorite!
