Easy and soooo good !! Hubby thought I had purchased this at a restaurant and brought it home.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb package italian sausage (remove skins if using links)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bunch green salad onions chopped including tops
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms (reserve liquid)
  • 1 can sliced black olives (reserve liquid)
  • 1 jar sun dried tomatoes
  • 1 package italian & herb cream cheese
  • 1 box penne

How To Make italian sausage penne pasta

  • Step 1
    Cook Penne per instructions on container but omit the salt.
  • Step 2
    Put olive oil in skillet and add sausage and chopped onions; cook completely and drain off any oils.
  • Step 3
    Add olives, tomatoes, and mushrooms and heat thoroughly then add the flavored cream cheese and reserved liquid to thin.
  • Step 4
    Add mixture to cooked Penne and enjoy
