A real easy crowd pleaser. It serves a bunch. You can use your favorite pasta. I used whole wheat penne.

Ingredients
- 1 package pasta, your choice (13 - 14 oz)
- 4 sweet Italian sausages, sliced
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
How To Make italian pasta bake

Step 1Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Spray an 8x13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Cook pasta according to directions and drain.

Step 2In a large bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and pepper until well combined.

Step 3Add the pasta and mix well.

Step 4Saute the sausage (if uncooked) or brown the pre-cooked sausage. Cut into slices if needed.

Step 5Put half of the tomato sauce on the bottom of the casserole dish. Then spread half of the pasta mixture on top of it.

Step 6Then layer half of the sausage.

Step 7Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese next.

Step 8Repeat the tomato sauce, pasta mixture, rest of the sausage, mozzarella cheese, and finish by sprinkling Parmesan cheese on top. Cover the casserole with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes.

Step 9Remove foil.

Step 10Broil for a minute or two, browning the cheese on top.
