- HOMEMADE PESTO

3 cfresh basil leaves

3 Tbsppine nuts

6 clovegarlic

8pitted kalamatta olives

1 cgrated parmesan cheese

1 colive oil

salt and pepper
- CHICKEN AND PASTA

1 lbangel hair pasta

4boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into strips

2 Tbspolive oil

1 cfavorite spaghetti sauce

1 chomemade pesto sauce

8 ozroll of mozzarella cheese sliced into rounds
How To Make italian chicken pesto pasta

1For the pesto combine all ingredients except Olive oil in a food processor. Process drizzling the olive oil through the shoot until the pesto is well combined. Set aside.

2cook the pasta according to package directions and drain.

3Place the olive oil in a cast iron skillet or oven safe skillet. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper then cook in oil until almost done. Pour in the spaghetti sauce and pesto. Add the pasta and stir until well combined.

4Set broiler on high. Add the mozzarella cheese around to top of pasta and place under broiler until cheese is browned and bubbly.

5Serve immediately
