This is such a simple fast dish and it freezes well and is a great pot luck bring along

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ragatoni pasta
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce (jar or home made)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, diced or shreaded
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan or romano cheese graded
  • - salt, pepper, italian seasoning

How To Make italian baked pasta and cheese

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    Cook Pasta according to directions for "Al Dente" and drain and put back in pot
  • Step 3
    mix 1 cup of tomato sauce with pasta
  • Step 4
    pour 1/2 cup of tomato sauce in bottom of 2 quart baking dish
  • Step 5
    add half of pasta to baking dish
  • Step 6
    mix ricotta , half of mozzarella cheese , salt ,pepper, Italian seasoning and half of parmesan in bowl and then spread on top of pasta
  • Step 7
    cover with second half of pasta balance of sauce and balance of cheeses
  • Step 8
    Bake at 350 for 30 min.
