  • 1 lb
    rigatoni pasta, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 c
    ricotta cheese
  • 16 oz
    tomato sauce jar or home made
  • 8 oz
    mozzarella cheese shreaded
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan or romano cheese
  • ·
    salt pepper and italian seasoning

How to Make Italian Baked Pasta and Cheese


  1. cook pasta according to directions for "al dente", drain pasta and mix with 1 cup of tomato sauce
  2. preheat oven to 350 degrees
  3. spread 1/2 cup tomato sauce on bottom of 2 quart baking dish and add 1/2 of pasta
  4. mix ricotta, half of mozzarella, and half of parmesan cheese , salt pepper and Italian seasoning
    spread over pasta
  5. pour remaining pasta on top of ricotta mix . add remaining sauce, then mozzarella and parmesan cheese
  6. bake 350 for 40 min
