Ingredients

  • 1 pound rigatoni pasta, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce jar or home made
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese shreaded
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan or romano cheese
  • - salt pepper and italian seasoning

How To Make italian baked pasta and cheese

  • Step 1
    cook pasta according to directions for "al dente", drain pasta and mix with 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • Step 2
    preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 3
    spread 1/2 cup tomato sauce on bottom of 2 quart baking dish and add 1/2 of pasta
  • Step 4
    mix ricotta, half of mozzarella, and half of parmesan cheese , salt pepper and Italian seasoning spread over pasta
  • Step 5
    pour remaining pasta on top of ricotta mix . add remaining sauce, then mozzarella and parmesan cheese
  • Step 6
    bake 350 for 40 min
