Ingredients
- 8 ounces frozen asparagus
- 1/4 whole bell pepper cut into strips
- 1/2 onion sliced thinly
- 1 pound cubed ham
- 8 ounces thick spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 ounces canned mushrooms
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
How To Make imagine bill's cheesy pasta!

Step 1Cook asparagus according to bag directions. Chop into one inch pieces and set aside. Cut the bell pepper and onion into thin strips and set aside. Cut ham into cubes and set aside.

Step 2Cook pasta to al dente according to box directions. You could use any pasta, but we prefer thick spaghetti. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.

Step 3While pasta is cooking, melt one tablespoon of butter in a big fry pan. Fry onion, and bell pepper on medium heat for about three minutes.

Step 4Add the mushroom soup, mushrooms, milk, ham to the skillet. Cook on medium heat until well blended. Add the ricotta cheese and cook for a couple minutes until it melts, stirring frequently.

Step 5Add the asparagus and pasta to the pan, and stir until combined. Add the shredded cheddar to the pan and mix until melted. Add reserved pasta water and mix until smooth.

Step 6Add salt and pepper to taste.
