How To Make homemade spaghetti sauce & turkey meatballs
-
Step 1In a large 8 Quart Sauce Pot on low heat add olive oil & crushed garlic. Sautee on low until garlic is lightly browned. Do not burn. Start adding Tomato paste, one can at a time using a whire wisk to incorporate each can into the the garlic/ olive oil. Add all dry seasonings & wine and mix thoroughly. Add Tomato Sauce & Tomato Puree and stir. Continue to simmer on low heat for 6 hours...if they can wait that long. If you cover pot so sauce does not splatter on stove be sure not to put the lid on all the way, prop it up on one side with something so the moisture does not go into the sauce. ( This will water down your sauce ) I use a wooden spoon laying horizontal across the pot on one side with the lid resting on it to let the steam out.

Step 2For the Meatballs In a large mixing bowl combine eggs & ½ & ½ and whisk in meatloaf seasoning packets. Add 2 packages of ground turkey meat & combine mixture. Add parmesan cheese, panko & italian breadcrumbs & mix together. Using a cookie scooper or ice cream scooper, make into the size meatballs you desire. Roll and place in a greased baking dish and bake for approx 60-90 minutes @ 350* depending on the size of the meatballs.

Step 3After meatballs are cooked add to sauce & continue to simmer. Add to your favorite pasta, garnish with parmesan cheese & enjoy! Delizioso!!!
