homemade spaghetti os
Homemade meaning the sauce, not the actual pasta. I have made this in the states with both ditalini pasta and ring pasta, either one is perfect. Another option is to add mixed vegetables and browned ground beef to make a goulash.

Ingredients
- 2 cans tomato sauce, (15 oz / 425 g each)
- 3 cups water (or 1 cup water and 2 cups chicken broth)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoons onion powder

How To Make homemade spaghetti os
-
Step 1To a large pot, add the tomato sauce, water, and milk. Heat to a boil then reduce to low.
-
Step 2Stir in the garlic and onion powders, then stir in the cheese, stir until the cheese is all melted, takes just a minute or two.
-
Step 3Add the pasta and stir that in, reduce heat to a low simmer. Cook for 20-30 minutes and stir occasionally so the pasta does not stick.
-
Step 4When the pasta is tender, the Spaghetti Os are ready. Serve as is.
-
Step 5Or with meatballs added, highly recommended! I had some frozen cooked meatball that I just heated in the microwave and added them.
